AFTER-SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION
AFTER-SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION
Our After-School Program offers a wide variety of specialty classes and activities per term. Term sessions’ length and cost can vary; sessions are held from 3-4 pm or 3-4:30 pm unless otherwise stated on our schedule.
There are no exceptions to policies in this document; please be familiar with the policies before registering your child for after-school programs.
HEALTH OFFICE
- The Health Office is open daily from 8 am until 5 pm.
- In the event that the healthcare provider is not available, we have an adequate number of faculty and staff members who are First Aid and CPR-AED trained to respond to medical emergencies during after-school programs.
SECURITY POLICIES
-In order to maintain a productive and safe environment for all Dwight community members, we request that all parents and guardians wear their School-issued parent/caregiver ID badges when dropping off and picking up children. Please note that new families will receive their ID badges at the beginning of the school year.
-Our Security team is strictly enforcing this policy.
DISMISSAL POLICIES
-Grade 5: Self-dismissal for after-school programs will start on January 5, 2025, at the beginning of the winter term for grade 5. Until then, all students enrolled in fall after-school programs must be picked up at the activity's dismissal time.
-Grades 6-8: Grades 6-8 students can self-dismiss from 21 West 88th Street after their programs all school year.
FINANCIAL AID
