The Pink Ribbon Club is a student-led organization dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting individuals and families affected by it. The club provides a community for students to engage in advocacy, education, and fundraising initiatives. Club activities include: Awareness & Education: Educate the Dwight community about early detection, risk factors, and the importance of regular screenings through presentations, campaigns, and guest speakers. Fundraising Initiatives: Organize events such as dress-down days, bake sales, pink-themed merchandise sales, charity runs, and partnerships with local businesses. All proceeds will support the National Breast Cancer Organization. Community Service: Participate in volunteer activities at local cancer support centers to provide direct assistance and encouragement to those affected. Club Planning & Collaboration: Meetings include brainstorming, planning initiatives, and coordinating awareness campaigns to maximize impact. The Pink Ribbon Club empowers students to make a meaningful difference in their community while promoting understanding, compassion, and advocacy for breast cancer awareness.
