The Dwight Players is a service-based theater club dedicated to combining the joy of performance with community outreach. Student actors will rehearse and perform scenes once a month for underserved members of the community, sharing the arts as a source of connection, entertainment, and relief. The club’s goals are to: Develop Theatre Skills: Rehearse and perform scenes to strengthen acting, directing, and stagecraft abilities Serve the Community: Provide accessible theatre experiences for underserved audiences and bring moments of joy through performance Foster Empathy & Perspective: Learn from others, broaden understanding, and develop a spirit of service through the arts The Dwight Players seek to extend the power of theater beyond the school, using creativity and performance to uplift others and make the arts more inclusive.
